I have kept journals for a great part of my life. The last ten years or so mostly on my computer. Last year I started to write by hand again, longing for the tactile feeling of pen and paper. I journaled in several books, and also kept a separate art journal, until I heard of, almost a month ago.
I now keep an Everything Journal. It truly contains everything I would use paper for. There is journaling, poetry, art, doodles, scribbled down quotes and lots more.
Almost a month later, my journal is almost full. It feels so good to hold it now, and to doodle in it, to play with the paper, to add in loads of things (as you can see in the top half of the picture).
I wrote this in my journal the other day: This journal is my life. This journal saves my life. This is where I create my life.
It’s true 🙂
It contains everything I ponder, every idea I have had over the past month. It is life. And that is what journaling is all about.
